How does it feel to have been nominated?
Being shortlisted for Temporary (Contract) Recruiter of the Year is a great privilege. I know there was a lot of competition (and still is) for the award, so I am looking forward to the awards night in a couple of weeks’ time. Having started in recruitment over 3 years ago, I could never have imagined reaching the shortlist for a national award and I am very humbled to have achieved what I have so far in my career!
What is it you like about recruitment and what drives you to do your job?
Changing lives has to be the most satisfying part of the role. Through not only through placing candidates into career enhancing roles but also the lifesaving medicines and therapies that are released to market to meet patient needs!
I also enjoy the consultative approach to conversations with clients in this market. There is no better feeling than understand the issues that an individual/organisation is having, and being able to provide them with a solution that saves lives in the long term.
Is there anyone you'd like to thank?
My thanks to the candidates and clients that have written testimonies for me and best of luck to my colleagues that also made shortlists!
