How does it feel to have been nominated? 

It’s always a great feeling to be recognised for newcomer of the year. I never thought when starting 12 months ago that I would win newcomer of the year internally at HRS, never mind even being nationally recognised, it makes me feel proud and motivated to keep going and achieve more!

What is it you like about recruitment and what drives you to do your job? 

Firstly, I enjoy the fast-paced environment, constantly everyone around you is motivating each other to be the best they can be in the role. Furthermore, other than being money motivated, being able to help transform someone’s life by putting them into a new opportunity is always a fulfilling feeling, you also never have the same things to do every day, so going into work every day with different tasks is great!

Is there anyone you'd like to thank?

HRS has been fantastic with me over the last 12 months, offering constant training and support to help develop into a recruitment consultant. Specifically, I would like to thank David Powell for his support and backing of me over the last 12 months, I would not of been able to do it without him! Moreover, I would like to thank everyone in the IT Pharma team for always offering support to each other, they really are a good group to work with
