How does it feel to have been nominated?
Having worked for HRS for 10 years (almost) I’ve only just plucked up the courage to put myself forward for an REC Award, so being nominated on my first go applying is a real treat! It’s an honour to be recognised for doing a good job within a career I’m really passionate about. The acknowledgement means that all the hard work is paying off.
How great is it to have been nominated alongside your colleagues?
I’m nominated in the same category as two of my colleagues, so hopefully one of us picks up the gong on the night. Up against some tough competition with them both being previous winners!!
What is it you like about recruitment? What drives you to do your job?
My biggest driver for getting into recruitment was based on having poor experiences with recruiters myself, and even before getting into the sector, I knew I could do a better job and provide candidates and clients with a memorable experience. So being nominated for an award for doing what I set out to do, feels very rewarding.
