REC Awards 2022: Hyper Recruitment Solutions Named 'Best Company to Work For (Up to 50 Employees)'

Last week, the HRS team had the pleasure of attending the 2022 REC Awards - an annual celebration of everything the UK recruitment industry has to offer.

This year's award ceremony took place at Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. We were among the firms nominated in the Best Company to Work For (Up to 50 Employees) category, and we're thrilled to announce that - despite stiff competition from some outstanding recruitment firms - Hyper Recruitment Solutions took the crown!

About the REC Awards

The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) is the voice of the UK recruitment industry. The REC aims to promote high standards and empower recruitment companies to build a better future, and each year, they hand out awards to the companies and individuals who best embody these goals.

The REC Awards celebrate the very best in UK recruitment, showcasing the work of brilliant recruiters from across the industry. The 13th annual REC Awards were judged by a panel of 20 individuals from across different businesses, and the winners were announced during a ceremony at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel on 24th November 2022.

In all, 45 individuals and 59 companies were shortlisted across 21 different categories.

Words from Neil Carberry, Chief Executive of the REC:

"Competition for staff in the UK has been a challenge throughout 2022, and skilled recruitment professionals are making a real difference for both the companies and the workers they support. In tough times, it is important to celebrate the critical service our recruiters provide to millions of people in the UK every day.

"This year’s winners were exceptional, showcasing best-in-class recruitment at a time when it's needed more than ever. The nominees should also feel immense pride in what they have achieved. Congratulations to everyone involved!"

Words from Ricky Martin, our Managing Director:

"So Hyper Recruitment Solutions was named 'Best Company to Work For' at the 2022 REC Awards, plus our very own Georgia Walden was highly commended in the 'Best Permanent Consultant' category.

"A brilliant evening with sensational company, and I woke up the next morning feeling very happy to be part of a business that blows my mind every day.

"There were 500+ recruiters in the room on the night, making it the Recruitment & Employment Confederation's best-attended awards yet. What a night of celebrations!

"From me, a big thank you to all at HRS and everyone who was there on the night.

"Also, a big shout out to Eve Hegarty, Christina Giakou, Fabio Roque and Nathan Pepperall for their respective nominations; and to James Clemens for writing our application for the first time since joining us as our Marketing Manager."

Why this matters to us

It's amazing to be recognised as one of Britain's best recruitment companies, but even more than that, we're ecstatic to have been acknowledged as one of the best employers in our sector.

Hyper Recruitment Solutions wouldn't exist without the dedicated, brilliant people who make up our team, so we do our very best to give those people a nice place to work and to ensure that their efforts are rewarded.

We're so proud to have won this award, and prouder still to know that we're providing an environment where hard-working life science recruiters can change lives every single day.
