August Activities
To give you a taste of what's in store for the HRS team this month, here are a few of the activities we've pencilled in...
- Fantasy Football
- Fifa night
- Pool night
- White water rafting
- Team drinks
These are all activities designed to encourage teamwork and a bit of healthy competition, but also to allow our life-changers to let their hair down. With so many of us feeling disconnected from our friends and families for the past year, we really do believe it's important for our staff to build strong, meaningful connections at work. We want our life-changers to look forward to coming to work every day, and we know that building friendships with colleagues makes for a healthier, happier and more productive work environment.
Making Time for Mental Health
Getting the team together is one of our top priorities for the coming weeks, but we do appreciate that not everyone is feeling mentally ready to go back to 'normal' completely. There's a lot of anxiety surrounding the return to work, and the last thing we want is for people to feel uncomfortable. One way that we're alleviating the pressure of returning to work is by giving all of our life-changers a recharge day. On recharge days, we give the whole HRS team a day off so they can catch up with family, relax and unwind. We strive to get the work-life balance right so that all of our life-chargers feel supported on their good and their bad days.
