HRS team at IRP Awards 2019

The 2019 IRP Awards took place in London last night, and it was yet another winning evening for Hyper Recruitment Solutions!

As you may remember, we were named Best Company to Work for (Up to 50 Employees) at last year's event, and so we arrived at the Royal Lancaster Hotel last night hoping to do the double and retain our title.

So...did it happen? We think this tweet from our Managing Director Ricky Martin says it all:

That's right - we're thrilled to say that HRS once again won the Best Company to Work for award! It's a great honour to win this prestigious award twice on the trot, and the perfect way to cap off a year of big achievements for Hyper Recruitment Solutions:

But our success didn't stop there! Senior Recruitment Consultant Georgia Walden also picked up two gongs of her own at the IRP Awards last night: Permanent Consultant of the Year and Recruiter of the Year!

Georgia is an exemplary recruiter, and these aren't the first awards she's won in 2019 either. Back in May, we held our own 2019 HRS Awards, where Georgia was named Consultant of the Year.

Here's what Managing Director Ricky Martin had to say about Georgia's latest win:

"Georgia joined HRS as an enthusiastic science graduate with a passion for helping scientists to do great things. Georgia has progressed through our training academy and gone above and beyond to become not only an expert in science recruitment but also a true professional who's making a difference. Well done Georgia, and well done to the rest of the HRS team!"

HRS team at the 2019 Global Recruiter Awards

We've won our third award in under 12 months!

Last night (20 June), the Hyper Recruitment Solutions team visited London's fabulous Café de Paris for the 2019 Global Recruiter UK Industry Awards. This was the awards' 10th anniversary, and the evening was suitably spectacular, with the venue packed and anticipation running high for the announcement of the winners.

This time around, HRS were up for the Best Small Recruitment Business award, and with two gongs already under our belt for 2018/19 (courtesy of the IRP Awardsi n December and the Recruiter Awards just last month), we were hoping to make it a hat-trick at the Café de Paris last night.

And as it turned out...

...we won!

The awards' organisers praised Hyper Recruitment Solutions for our fast growth, outstanding staff retention, and the "glowing testimonials" our clients have given. Here's what our Managing Director Ricky Martin had to say after the awards had been handed out:

"What a fantastic night - we've done the treble! Picking up wins at the IRP Awards, the Recruiter Awards, and now the Global Recruiter Awards has proven beyond doubt that Hyper Recruitment Solutions is a truly life-changing recruitment company, and we're showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. I couldn't be prouder of the HRS team for the sensational success we've seen in the past 12 months, and it's great to be able to call ourselves global multi-award winners!"

The HRS team

Last night (30 May 2019), we held our annual awards night to recognise the outstanding achievements and unwavering dedication of the HRS team.

These were our 4th annual awards - the 2018 event was held on Lord Sugar's yacht (view photo), whereas last night's celebration took place at Savage Garden, a rooftop bar in London.

The evening began with a drinks reception, and this was followed by the awards themselves. Our Managing Director Ricky Martin hosted the event, while Lord Sugar presented the awards to the worthy winners.

“Georgia has shown a real thirst for adventure across 2018/19, not afraid of the risks associated with stepping outside her comfort zone. She has proven that, no matter what level you are within the company, you can succeed if you want it enough. Well done Georgia, you are a shining example to your peers!” – Ricky Martin, Managing Director

This annual award ceremony is an amazing opportunity for Ricky, Lord Sugar and the rest of the company to acknowledge the wealth of talent we have here at HRS. Each year, the awards get more and more competitive (not to mention busier due to our expanding workforce!) and it's always a joy to look back on the achievements of the past year.

This year's event capped off a particularly fantastic period for Hyper Recruitment Solutions. We've won two industry awards within the last 12 months...

...and now we're looking to make it a hat trick! We are on the shortlist for Global Recruiter's 'Best Small Recruitment Business' award, and the ceremony will be taking place on 20 June 2019 at the Café de Paris in London. Wish us luck!

HRS at the 2019 Recruiter Awards

The 2019 Recruiter Awards took place last night (Thursday 9 May) at Grosvenor House in London. This annual awards night is always a highlight of our year, and the Hyper Recruitment Solutions team were there last night alongside many other luminaries from the UK recruitment industry.

The drinks reception and 3-course meal were splendid as expected, but the real high point came during the award ceremony itself, when we learned that we had WON the Recruitment Agency of the Year (11-49 Employees) award!

This is an exceptionally competitive category, so as you can imagine, we were beyond thrilled to be named the winners. Here's what our MD Ricky Martin had to say afterwards:

"It was a fantastic night and certainly one to remember - it was an opportunity for the recruitment industry to celebrate excellence and commitment to talent. I am absolutely delighted that Hyper Recruitment Solutions are now a multi-award winning company. I couldn't be more proud of every member of this incredible, life-changing company."

- Ricky Martin, Managing Director

Hyper Recruitment Solutions: Multi-Award Winners!

As Ricky notes above, this is not the first award with which Hyper Recruitment Solutions have been honoured. You may recall that, back in December, we attended the 10th Annual IRP Awards - another highly prestigious event - where we were named Best Company to Work for (Up to 50 Employees)!

Our win at the Recruiter Awards last night is testament to the company's ongoing success and to the unwavering dedication of the HRS team. We have been going from strength to strength for years now, changing lives all over the UK and showing no signs whatsoever of slowing down.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to the Recruiter Awards for their recognition, and to every member of the HRS team who has helped us to become the multi-award winning company we are today.

HRS team

We recently learned that Hyper Recruitment Solutions (HRS) was to be included in this year's FT 1000 list, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing companies in Europe. We are the 42nd fastest-growing UK company in the list, and the highest-ranking company founded by a former BBC Apprentice winner. This is a tremendous honour for us, and testament to the company's ongoing success!

What is the FT 1000?

The FT 1000 is an annually-published list of the thousand fastest-growing companies in Europe. The rankings - compiled by the Financial Times in association with Statista - are based on compound annual growth rate in revenues.

Click here to view this year's FT 1000 list in full.

What does this mean for us?

Ranking among Europe's fastest-growing businesses is, as mentioned above, a great honour for all of us here at Hyper Recruitment Solutions, and we'd like to thank all of the candidates and employers who work with us - as well as our hard-working staff in Essex, Manchester and Edinburgh - for making this achievement possible.

There can be no doubt that HRS has become a leading light in the science and technology recruitment industry, and we have established a fantastic reputation for ethical, high-quality service. Our inclusion in the FT 1000 list is just the latest in a number of high-profile awards and honours for Hyper Recruitment Solutions - for example, did you know that we were recently named Best Company to Work for (Up to 50 Employees) at the 10th annual IRP Awards?
